HOW ONLINE FLIRTING CAN GO WRONG

Flirting Online

Do not ping too often:
Don't make it seem like you've been up all day waiting for him/her to show up. But don't hesitate to strike a conversation after a while. However, don't make it a regular occurrence.

Don't comment on each and every status update:
Yes, networking sites are meant for you to keep in touch with your friends, but don't make it seem like you spend your every breathing moment on someone else's webpage.

Don't send friendship requests repeatedly:
If someone has ignored your friendship request more than once, take the hint. Sending friendship requests repeatedly may likely see you in the blocked list. Don't keep sending messages reminding him/her of your pending friendship requests.

Think before you type:
Being online allows you to think twice before typing anything. Think about what you say either while chatting or leaving a message on someone's webpage.

Don't comment on every picture that he/she uploads:
Commenting on one or two pictures is fine, but saying something random about every picture he/she posts makes it look like you don't have a social life. Make sure that you don't come across as a wannabe.

Do not intrude when two people are having a conversation:
If there's a series of messages going back and forth between two people, don't try and join in the conversation. If two people are having a discussion, they may not want comments from a third party.

Don't send friendship requests to his/her friends:
Just because you and the other person have five friends in common doesn't mean he/she is going to allow you to join his/her friend's list. If he/she is not open to making friends online, respect his/her decision.
